Mission

Coos Waterkeeper is a member of Waterkeeper Alliance, an international environmental advocacy organization. The Coos Waterkeeper's mission is to evaluate the biological health of the Coos watershed, document the ecological impact of nearly two centuries of industrial development, and facilitate protection through education, advocacy and research using current science and traditional indigenous knowledge. The purpose of this blog is providing the latest information and a forum for reflecting on environmental issues facing Coos watershed.
